Dr. Macy Hyvonen, DMD

Raised in the quiet beauty of Charlo, Montana, Dr. Macy Hyvonen has always felt a strong connection to the people and landscapes of her home state. She began her academic journey at the University of Montana, earning a degree in Human Biology in 2003, before heading south to complete her dental training at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health, where she received her D.M.D. in 2008.

Over the years, Dr. Hyvonen has built a diverse career practicing dentistry in both Montana and Maine—making stops in Butte, Libby, Missoula, and the coastal town of Ellsworth. Each experience shaped her approach to care and ultimately led her back to the Flathead Valley, where she’s proud to serve the community she holds close to her heart.

When she's not working with patients, Dr. Hyvonen is soaking up every season Montana offers. She spends her summers perfecting her golf swing and tending to her garden, while winters are reserved for skiing adventures—both downhill and cross-country. Always up for an escape, she loves to travel whenever possible, especially if her dogs, Lucy and Vinny, can tag along for the ride.
